The Universidad Andrés Bello is institutionally accredited by the National Accreditation Agency (CNA, Spanish acronym) from 2013 to 2017 in the areas of Institutional Management, Undergraduate Instruction, and Outreach, as well as in Investigation, an area in which UNAB was the first and remains the only private university with accreditation in Chile.
After achieving initial accreditation from 2004-2008, the Universidad Andrés Bello was reaccredited for five and then four years, confirming UNAB’s integrity and strategic management. Indeed, this strategy has allowed the University to grow within parameters that ensure educational quality, an environment that fosters critical thinking, and an open dialogue with society.
Additionally, various UNAB programs within the areas of Education, Health, Administration, and Business are accredited. Furthermore, three Science and Technology Doctorate Programs are accredited, as well as three specialties within the Health and English fields.
The Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) is internationally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), a certification requiring compliance with certain Eligibility Requirements and with 14 Characteristics of Excellence in Higher Education (or Accreditation Standards).
Currently, UNAB is an Internationally Accredited Institution. This achievement required the University to evidence compliance with 14 quality benchmarks and to present sufficient evidence that full compliance with the required standards will be fulfilled within a reasonable period.
