Exchange and Study Abroad Program

Universidad Andrés Bello’s Study Abroad Program offers students worldwide the opportunity to learn and develop skills in the Spanish language and enrich their academic careers.

The program is designed for undergraduate university students, who have completed at least one year of study at their home university, to spend a term at UNAB, earning credits to transfer back to their home institution.

Foreign students, whether they stay for a semester or a year, are fully integrated into the University’s academic Schools and have full access to all the facilities and services offered by the institution.

In the case of universities with which UNAB has an exchange agreement, the application is processed by the Office of International Relations at the student’s home university; otherwise, foreign students who meet the requirements, will be accepted as temporary students, and will pay a fee.

To apply, students need to submit

1. Application Form, duly filled out and signed
2. Letter of recommendation from your home institution
3. Transcript
4. Photocopy of passport

Application deadlines

Activities Overview

• Orientation session
• The chance to enroll in 5 courses per semester. There may be restrictions to take Health Sciences courses
• Full access to all university facilities and services
• Full access to extracurricular activities, such as Sports, artistic workshops, and activities such as diving, fly-fishing, mountaineering, surf, rodeo.
• 1 Daytrip per semester to a nearby location.
• Brush-up Spanish course at the beginning of the semester
